PEDRO LOPEZ

Spanish-born flautist Pedro Lopez is a rising soloist and orchestral player in the UK.

After completing his studies in Trinity Laban and the Royal College of Music, where he received the Artist Diploma with first-class honours; Pedro has played and collaborated with orchestras like the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, BBC Concert Orchestra and Southbank Sinfonia, and has been recently on trial for the principal flute position at the Royal Northern Sinfonia.

During his career he has been awarded in several competitions including El Primer Palau Competition and the Harold Clarke Woodwind Competition, and he has been generoulsy supported by the Tillet Foundation, the Leverhlume Trust, the TLC Trust, and more recently by  the Concordia Foundation.

Recent highlights as are solo and chamber music performances in Europe and Asia, including performances in  Het Concertebouw,  Gewandhaus Mendelssohn Saal, Cadogan Hall, Royal Opera House Crush Room, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, St John's Smith Square, Barbican, Queen Elisabeth Hall, Oxford University and Hong Kong  British Consulate, among others.
