The Pied Piper of Tower Hamlets
Wilton’s Music Hall, November 2011
Concordia Mentee, Tanya Cooling, created an exciting new interpretation of this famous fairy tale for the children of Tower Hamlets.
Activities included learning about British and African stories, songs, culture and wildlife and making instruments from recycled objects.
The children in Year 4 and 5 participated in performances at Wilton’s Music Hall and wrote their own critique in a specially designed session called ‘Little Critics’ with Tanya, that was set up for the following week.
Concordia Artists: Abigail Burrows, Edgar Baily and Tom McLauchlin and talented young actors Richard Maxted and Tom Radford with designs by Rosie Mayhew and Michelle Leong.
